‘Profit-making machines! That’s what these educational institutions have become’ I just can’t stop cursing our top grad schools; they are so unaffordable, especially for the average income families. My frustration arises from the fact that our educational institutions have transformed into these lucrative profit-seeking businesses.
It is not a business until they are making good profit but nowadays they are overcharging, after every year per course fee is also increased. It is the fact that they are overcharging. I am not pointing towards any particular institute but for instance,
If they are charging Rs.8,000 per course then if we take a single class of 40 students then they are getting Rs. 320,000. If there are about 1,000 students and each student pays 50,000 per semister for 5 courses including its transport charges & library charges then they are earning 5,000,000 but still if students are facing problems then the money they are earning is not halal.
