Dual nationality holders barred from taking part in elections: ECP

  

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared individuals with dual nationalities ineligible to take part in elections and has recommended that the government pass legislation in this regard, Geo News reported.

I agree with ECP. I am sure its a good step forward towards searching a patriotic Pakistan. It is an insult to Pakistan that leaders can reside all their life in a foreign country and then get elected in a manipulative way and become Prime Minister. Shauket Aziz a USA Citizen became PM after being elected from Attock, Punjab. A place he had never visited before the elections in his life. Pakistan should also make Party Leadership illegal to a foreign citizen.
