Shopping Addiction

Addiction, everybody is aware nowadays about different types of addiction & craziest people wasting money & time, but about which I am going to blog is SHOPPING ADDICTION, it may seem that there will be a person too rich who does shopping & shopping & shopping…… But the story is about;

A person who lives in Sydney, Australia has shopping addiction and this man is a victim of depression to that much extent that he everyday goes to shopping and his house is full of those things which everyone wants dream to have (except car). His mother was alcoholic addict, his father always ignored him when he was kid and to avoid it & make him distracted away, his mother always bring him something and get him to shopping mall, from that day his addiction started.

Today he had houseful of everything & every equipment including; 70 pairs of shoes, 80 luxury wrist watches most of which he never wear it, he had thousands of expensive shirts which he never used and are still packed & tagged, he had world’s expensive several gym equipment, thousands of aftershave lotions, perfumes most which he never even checked if it is working. There is a room in his house which he had never showed to anybody, when he showed it to cameramen, it was a room full of hundreds of boxes and packed cartons, he added that there are things on which I have spent more than millions of dollars shopping these things and they are still packed which I have never even unpacked to see what is inside it.

His addiction has increased to a extension that he never sleeps until he had done shopping. One day it was midnight he was trying to sleep but he couldn’t do it so he went to duty free shop 24/7 open and done shopping, purchased another wrist watch which he liked when he had unintentionally glanced at it and it drives him crazy and purchased it for 5000 Australian Dollars and wear it only for half an hour and then puts it into his collection (he will never use it again).
Now he is on loan and almost spent all of his wealth which his family has left, he is now under treatment of a Psychotherapist.

According to me it was his family who was responsible for it, his family started it and now he is going to end it when it is at extreme and wastes his wealth. It is really important that we must not ignore anyone but nowadays we believe and are acting on condition that everyone is responsible of himself, but there are things which does not matter to us but it is the fact that our actions always leave a mark on people around us and our society.
